Required Text:  A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets, AASHTO (2004).

 

This course focuses on providing students an in-depth understanding of the principles of geometric highway design for rural and urban roads; allowing students to become familiar with design standards and implement them in a design project.  Written reports and oral presentations are also required.

Prereq: CE 211, CE 331, and engineering standing.
