Samir Rawashdeh completed his MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Kentucky with the Space Systems Laboratory. He joined the Space Systems Lab in 2007, and took part in several missions and research projects since then with Kentucky Space. His research efforts have been in Embedded Systems Design and Satellite Attitude Determination and Control Systems. He also taught the Introduction to Embedded Systems course (EE383) and Real-Time Operating Systems (EE599) on several occasions, and was a post-doctoral scholar prior to accepting an assistant professor position at the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
